... same effect, lower cost...

every year, there are indeed a leg of choices on kitchen cabinet doors that you could choose from in the kitchen cabinet department...

if you want your kitchen to still have that classic yet elegant look, there are a slew of laminated doors that are available in different wood species such as oak, maple, beech, walnut, teak and more...

for a classy look, you may choose those euro style doors... and if you still want to have that high-end look but in affordable price, you could go for the thermofoil doors...

this type of kitchen cabinet door is also known as medium density fibre board (mdf) which is, in essence, a vinyl wrapped door...
they could truly give any kitchen a sophisticated as they are specially- designed to be a substitute to the customary and authentic 5 pieces real wood doors, lacquer painted doors and timber veneer doors...

recent styles could even cause anyone to mistake it with real wood door or painted door as they already have the same stained and natural finish...
hence, choosing them could really elevate your kitchen's status while helping you save 2/3 of the cost...

aside from these already wonderful features, these doors are also easy to clean making it very convenient to any busy homeowner...

however, there are also several disadvantages that the product may bring...
first is the possibility that the vinyl and the core might let loose once the glue's worn out...
signs of discolouration may also be visible after some time...
lastly, these doors are not heat resistant... you may need a heat shield between these doors and your stove or oven to promote the longevity of these vinyl-based doors...

you just need to look for those reliable manufacturers to make sure that the product is of high quality and would not discolour and delaminate easily...

i personally don't really like to propose these doors for my clients because of the restricted door sizes... not many of them willing to produce special size doors...

... weeping willows...

the weeping willow tree is one of the most easily recognizable deciduous trees due to its gently 'weeping' branches and foliage...
often found beside pond and river banks, the weeping willow adds grace, beauty and shade to many landscapes...

although a native of china, the weeping willow is now widely grown in north america and other countries...
weeping willow bark was used medicinally by native americans to treat headaches...
the bark contains salicylic acid, an ingredient later used to make aspirin...

the weeping willow enjoys full sun to partial shade and thrives in a variety of soils...
it is a fast-growing tree that is propagated in spring by rooting the cuttings of softwood in deep soil...

gardeners prune overly-long branches in late winter or early spring before the buds open...
regular removal of crowded branches will maintain a freely-weeping appearance...
