... yum yum...

i've designed and built hundreds of kitchen cabinets for people for the past years, but i didn't really spend some time in the kitchen to cook...
most of the time i eat foods from hawker stall, restaurant or my mum will cook for me... but now i'm living alone in london and i have to cook for myself...
well, i find cooking is not that hard but to cook as delicious as mum or grandma did, it's still miles behind...

i would like to post some of my favourite food and i really really miss it...

curry fish...
hot and spicy but it really taste good with the coconut milk, mixed vegetables and red chillies...
eat with steam rice or indian bread...

slow cooked pork leg joint...
it has to be cooked slowly with black soy sauce...
with some mushroom, sea cucumber, dried oyster, ginger... yummy...
it's a chinese traditional food that we eat during festival celebration because it brings good prosperity...

'nasi lemak', malay traditional coconut milk rice...
steamed coconut milk rice where you eat together with red 'sambal' chilli paste, deep fried baby fish, fried peanuts, fresh cucumber and boiled egg...
it is a very famous food in malaysia that you can find in every corner...

thai style steam fish...
chopped garlic, onion, red chilli, baby chilli, lemon, coriander leaves...
eat with steamed rice would be an ideal combination...

i'm sure some of you might be interested on the recipes of those foods, go find it from the web...
