... i-xpensive...

the ipad supreme edition, designed by katherine hughes, is a wi-fi + 3g,
64gb ipad made of solid gold and encrusted with 25.5 carats of flawless diamonds...

the rear case and bezel is made from a single piece of solid 22-carat gold and on the back, the apple logo is bedazzled with 53 individually set gems...

the cost... a cool £129,995.00...

only 10 of these units are to be made... it weighs a whopping 2.1kg, more than 3 times the weight of the regular ipad...

stuart hughes, the maker of frightfully expensive diamond-encrusted mobile phones and ipads, has come up with an option for those who don't like diamonds... a tailor-made 24-carat solid gold iphone 4...

the phone has a re-created chassis handcrafted from start to finish from around 150 grams of 24-carat gold...

it sells for a not-too-cheap £21,995.00...

gresso has created a luxury back cover for the iphone 4 that is made of 200 years old african blackwood along with 18k gold detailing...

the back cover aims to make your iphone 4 look a little different although it isn't clear if the wood used is a replacement or cover for the current glass used...

2 versions are being created... the first 2 for women and contains an apple logo in 18k gold along with swarovski crystals... the other version for men drops the crystals and just has the wood back with apple logo...
