italian pasta in chinese styled stir fried with soy sauce...

home made turnip cake offered by my hongkie friend...
the steamed turnip cake was made with lots of dried baby shrimps and scallops...
i just cut it into pieces and pan fried with some cooking oil...
typical chinese 'dim sum'...
like...
seaweed soup...
dried seaweed, minced pork, spring onions & seafood stock...
a soup dish that my mum used to cook a lot back home...
but i can't remember when was the last time i had it after i've moved to uk...
i can still find a little bit of 'taste of mummy' from my soup...
perfect dish for dinner especially during this rubbish cold weather...

seaweed soup that i've cooked earlier, instant noodle, lettuce & chilli powder...
i've used the left over seaweed soup to cook the noodle...
perfect combination and another well cooked soup dish for dinner...
