heavy snow arrived in london yesterday night around 7pm and it ended only this morning...

when i woke up this morning looking out from my window, beautiful scene all over...

... go go chasing waterfalls...

the villa escudero in quezon province, philippines...

one of the hot spot of this villa is the amazing waterfall restaurant...

lunch is served against an impressive backdrop of thundering clear spring water...

grass fringed buffet counters and bamboo dining tables stood just inches away from the flowing river water from the waterfalls as it washes around the feet of diners...

the stunning view of lake labasin...

since there is nothing so well worth having as friends... never lose a chance to make them...

pasta with seafood...

fusilli, broccoli, mussels, king prawns, squids, onion & double cream...

another amazing and simple pasta recipe...

love it...

roasted chicken...

whole chicken, butter & chopped parsley...

i didn't really marinate the chicken with some special ingredients or any secret recipe...

just some butter around the tray and oven roast at 190 degree for 1 hour 30 minutes...

simple and yummy...

braised potato with pork...

potatoes, pork belly & garlic...

compared to the previous one, this time i cut the potatoes and pork in a smaller pieces...

then i took a longer time to braise with soy sauce, sesame oil and oyster sauce...

it tasted so much better and i can't wait to let my grandma and mum try it...

baked chicken with rice...

chicken drumsticks, rice, leeks & butter...

i've cooked it with oven and it actually didn't turn out nice...

i should have put more butter and some spices are missing on the rice...

i'll try it with an improved recipe next time...

finally the big freeze arrives...

the first serious country-wide weather alert of the winter was issued today...

the met office sent out a level 3 cold weather alert... just 1 level below the most serious stage...

this month is going to be the coldest month of the year...

in london we are expecting the snow this coming sunday...

it actually arrives so much later compared to last year...

i still remember last year london was snowing on the 30 november...

just get prepared and pray that everything is going to be ok...

by the way, the temperature now at my location is -3...

start everyday off with a smile and get it over with...
