... happy dragon year- part 2...

chinese new year is always one of my favourite festival...
unfortunately this year i didn't manage to go back for celebration again...
my sis posted some beautiful and lovely photos on her blog about what happened back home on the 2nd day of the chinese new year...
sharing some of it here...

every year on the 2nd day of the chinese new year, we will do some prayer at home to our ancestors with beautiful foods...
after the prayer everyone of us will enjoy the food as part of the celebration...
the house will be full of joy...
everyone will be busy preparing food in the kitchen...
chatting to each other...
the younger generations will be playing and chasing each other...
collecting red packets...

my grandma and some of my aunts used to cook lots of delicious food on that day...
but after grandpa left us few years ago and grandma is getting older, everything has been simplified...

i hope i can go back and join the big day in coming years...
